Good Friday Reflection: The Greatest Inspection of All

Good Friday

At Inspected Moore, we spend our days carefully examining homes—looking beyond the surface to uncover what’s truly going on underneath. But today, on Good Friday, we pause from the business of home inspections to reflect on something far more important: the condition of our hearts and the incredible hope we have through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Good Friday is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice made on our behalf. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 53:5,

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”

Jesus willingly went to the cross, taking on the weight of our sin so that we could be restored. In Romans 5:8, we are reminded:

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

That’s the good news—the Gospel. It’s not about what we can do to earn salvation, but about what has already been done for us. Through Jesus’ death and the victory of His resurrection, we are offered forgiveness, grace, and eternal life.

In our line of work, we often find issues hidden behind walls—things unseen that need attention. In the same way, sin separates us from God, but through Christ, we are made new. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

This Good Friday, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect, pray, and remember the incredible love shown on the cross. And we invite you and your family to join us at Victory Life Church Saturday for an Easter egg hunt or on Sunday as we gather in faith, celebrate the resurrection, and grow together in the truth of God’s Word.

From all of us at Inspected Moore, may you have a blessed and meaningful Good Friday—and may the hope of Jesus Christ fill your home and your heart.

He is risen.
